This website does not use advertising, behavioural profiling, mailing-list forms, or third-party analytics. It does not intentionally collect personal information merely because you read a page or download a book.

Server logs

The hosting provider may automatically process technical log data, such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and error messages. This information is used for security, reliability, and technical operation of the website.

Email

If you contact R. Delacorme by email, your address and the information in your message are used to answer your enquiry and manage any resulting correspondence. Messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose or for legitimate record-keeping.

Reader responses

If you submit a response, this website stores your name, email address, selected collection, optional story title, response and submission dates. Your name and response become public only after you confirm your email address. Your email address remains private and is available to the website owner for confirmation and moderation.

A confirmation link expires after one hour. Unconfirmed submissions are removed when the response service next runs after 24 hours. Removed responses are kept privately for up to 30 days so the owner can restore them, then removed when the service next runs. Published responses remain until removed by the owner or following an accepted removal request.

The letter CAPTCHA is generated on this website. A temporary session cookie keeps the form and owner sign-in secure. Rate limits use keyed hashes of connection information and email addresses; the response database does not store raw IP addresses. Expired rate-limit and sign-in records are cleared when the service next runs.

Confirmation and moderation messages are sent through the hosting provider. Submitted addresses are not added to a mailing list or used for marketing. For a correction or removal request, email stories@delacorme.com.

Cookies and local storage

Delacorme.com does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The reader response form uses a temporary session cookie for the letter CAPTCHA, form security and owner sign-in. The hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver or secure the site.

External services

Book files and web editions are served from this website. Email links open your own email application. If additional external services are introduced, this page will be updated before they are used.
